Reader Instructions

The library offers reader instructions and guided tours on how to use the library, its resources and services.

The introductory course includes a guided tour showing the reading rooms and an overview of the holdings - books, journals, media collection and special collections (artists' books, ). It gives basic information on borrowing respectively reserving books and other media, shows how to search the search portal supA [Suchportal Angewandte] and presents the library services (reservations, interlibrary-loan, databases ...). If available bring your laptop (with WLAN) with you.

Tuesday, March 28th, 9h-10h: introductory course in english - especially for beginners!

This course is available in English. Advanced courses on how to use the databases and on efficient research methods are currently only held in German (dates see below).
